Randy's New Wedding Ring ( I really didn't like the first one;)

So, we went out on the boat with the Shermans Thursday night. I think you can guess were this is going. Dan and I go on the tube and I just am not thinking and I forget to take off my ring. Of-course, we fall off and I loose it in the lake. MEN GET INSURANCE ON YOUR RING. It is about $13 A YEAR and there is no deductible if you loose it! So here is the new ring. The Twins Game

Logan's first Twinkies game. I got some tickets from General Mills a while back and we decided to bring the little guy along. On the way there he would not stop crying. When we were walking to the stadium, he keep crying. We didn't have any hope for the game, but once we got inside, he loved it. Our tickets were along the first base line about 20 rows up, right in foul ball territory. Lets just say that I paid attention to this game more than any I have ever gone to for the sheer fact of protecting my family from any foul balls. We decided to move in the sixth inning to a less populated area. Logan has found out that if you smile and laugh at everything, people pay attention to you and he loves it.

He has a crowd around him everywhere he goes.

This one is right before he throws up all of the Cheerios we fed him during the game to keep him happy. And Yes, he throws-up in my hair - and even down into my shirt. It was the most disgusting feeling I have ever had.

Logan is 6 months old!

We can't believe he's this old already! It just sort of hit us this past weekend that he's not a baby anymore. He can sit in a highchair when we go out to eat, he can sit in the pew at church, he can sit in the cart at the store...and eats more baby food than I think he's supposed to at this age. I usually like to ease into new transitions, but boy, he's taking the bull by the horns! Oh yeah, and guess who is sleeping through the night now (thanks to a little advice from the doc)?!! This part we can handle and have been waiting for this moment for many months.

Puppies and Babies - two of earths most adorable creatures!

So it's been a very long while since we've posted anything, so I figured I'd at least post these adorable pics from this weekend.  We went back to Sacred Heart to visit my parents and thier dog just had a litter of puppies.  We just couldn't resist the photo op.  Enjoy!

It is finally done!!!!!! I finished shelacking it around 3:00 this afternoon and went to a party until 10:00. We came home and I had to put it together. Leah has not even seen it put together yet. She couldn't stay up. I can't believe that it is done.

The Tales of a Working Mother

Well, here's "back to work" - week 3 and boy am I feeling the burn. I kind of feel like I did back when Logan was just a couple of weeks old...struggling to find time to do even the simplest of tasks. I thoroughly enjoyed decorating our home for Christmas back in November (before returning to work), and now am wondering if we'll ever see the day that I can find time to take the tree down. By the time I get home and eat dinner and wash bottles and pump parts for the next day, I refuse to allow another thing to interfere with my time with Logan. Who knew it would be this hard?!? Although I enjoy the time to interact with other adults and continue with the job that allows me some personal time to do other things that I enjoy, I miss Logan dearly. When I dropped him off at daycare for the first time, the scene pretty much spoke for itself. We put Logan in a swing right beside another baby who started to immediately chat it up. It was like his first day of school! The center even sends home sheets outlining when he ate, napped etc. with comments about the day, and stickers that say "Super" or "Great Job!" One day he's our little itty bitty baby, and the next day it's like he's off to school! I'll post a picture next day of this new adventure.

Here's another pic that's too adorable not to share...I LOVE hats, but unfortunately, he rarely lets me put them on him anymore. That is, unless he's NAKED. He LOVES to be naked. So we compromised. One day, mid-diaper change we tried on all the hats he refuses to wear. This one is by far my favorite.
